Temario
This course, Implementing Cisco Unity Connection (IUC) v8.0, reviews the Cisco Unity Connection architecture, components, functionality, features and capabilities. This course describes the features available for Cisco Unity Connection using the GUI and CLI interfaces available, as well as, specific tools and reports using the Remote Port Status Monitor and Real-Time Monitoring Tools.
Pre-requisitos
Delegates should meet the following prerequisites:
- Working knowledge of LANs, WANs and IP routing and switching
- Basic understanding of voice mail systems
- Knowledge of PBX operation or Cisco Unified Communications Manager
- Knowledge of traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN) operations and technologies

The primary audience for this course is IT Support Personnel responsible for implementation and integration of Cisco Unity Connection v8.0 servers; Level Two Help Desk Support Staff and Cisco Partners engineering staff who will be installation and supporting their customers Cisco Unity Connection v8.0 systems. The secondary audience for this course is Networking staff interesting in upgrading their skill sets to include Cisco Unity Connection voicemail installation and integration.
